Knit Together the History and Character of the Town of Lee Hall
If history is to be of value to future generations, a complete story
must be told. Buildings of everyday life should exist alongside noble
plantation housing. The challenge is: not only must a core group
of buildings be preserved, but the surrounding vacant lots and non-contributing
structures within the urban “view shed” must be subject
to controls through local ordinance to restrict damaging effects
from future development.
